OMGTea Matcha AAA Grade is a high-quality, single-origin matcha made from carefully shade-grown green tea leaves. Smooth and mild in flavour, it offers a refined drinking experience that feels balanced and clean. It is well suited to those who enjoy matcha regularly and appreciate a softer, more rounded profile.
Unlike traditional tea, matcha is stone-ground into a fine powder, meaning you consume the whole leaf. This provides a concentrated source of naturally occurring plant compounds, including L-theanine, an amino acid found in green tea. Many people choose matcha as a gentle alternative to coffee as part of their daily routine.
To prepare, add half a heaped teaspoon to a mug or bowl. Mix with a small amount of water at around 80°C to form a smooth paste, then top up with water and whisk until frothy. It also works well in oat milk lattes or blended into smoothies. Best enjoyed in the morning or early afternoon.
