The PECO Tri-Power air filter combines the advanced capabilities of Molekule’s patented PECO technology, achieving an impressive 99.97% particle-capture efficiency, along with a layer of carbon filtration designed to reduce odours and toxic gases. This sophisticated filter is designed for the Air Pro effective in spaces up to 1000 square feet, capturing and destroying harmful airborne particles, including bacteria, viruses, mould, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

For optimal performance, Molekule recommends replacing the filter every six months or more often if the purifier is used in a heavily polluted environment.

Why Molekule is Healf
All Molekule air purifiers are equipped with advanced filtration systems that combine Molekule’s patented PECO technology with a True HEPA filter, achieving a 99.97% particle-capture efficiency rate. This is further enhanced by a layer of carbon filtration that reduces odours and toxic gases. The unique PECO technology actively destroys pollutants that traditional HEPA filters might miss. When organic particles interact with the specially coated fibres in the filter, LED light triggers the production of hydroxyl radicals, which oxidise and break down organic matter at a molecular level. This process inactivates harmful pathogens and transforms volatile organic compounds (VOCs), allergens like dust mites, airborne mould spores, pet dander, pollen, and viruses (such as H1N1 and SARS-CoV-2) into harmless gases like carbon dioxide and water vapour. This comprehensive filtration approach is particularly beneficial for individuals with asthma or allergies. As FDA-cleared and CARB-certified devices, Molekule air purifiers guarantee exceptional quality and performance for creating a healthier indoor environment.

Suggested use
Over time, large particles can build up and the PECO layer degrades over time as the filter in your purifier fights organic pollutants. It is recommend to replace the filter in the Molekule Pro every 6 months when the Filter Status shows Replace or Replace Now on the top of the device, or if the filter status in the mobile app says it needs replacing.

Push down on the center core, turn counterclockwise (to the left) and release.

The core will rise on its own. Lift it off.

Remove the used PECO-Filter and discard. Unwrap the new PECO-Filter and place in the device.

Align the red line inside the shell with the red line on the core, so it falls into place.

Push down and turn clockwise until it locks into place.
