Slippery Elm Intensive is a powder blend of slippery elm, marshmallow, and liquorice root with added zinc. Slippery elm and marshmallow are traditional plants that contain mucilage, a soft, gel-like substance that forms when mixed with water. Liquorice root is included in a deglycyrrhizinated (DGL) form, which is gentle for regular use. The formula also contains gamma oryzanol from rice bran and sunflower lecithin, a natural source of phospholipids.
Zinc is included and is known to support the normal function of the immune system, help maintain normal skin, and contribute to normal cell division. This easy-to-mix powder offers flexibility in use and is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

2 level teaspoons (approx. 3 grams) or as professionally directed, stirred directly into water, juice or blended into a smoothie.

I bought this product as I developed really bad acid reflux after food poisoning abroad. It as clean active ingrsdiants and seems to have helped after using it continuously for 2 weeks. I don't even need the PPI's anymore. Taste is not so bad and it mixes in well with water. One jar seems to last for ages. I would definitely buy it again.
